The Shannon Lake House had previously been destroyed by a fire that severely compromised the interior structure. After several builders had told the owner that the house must be demolished and rebuilt, KMC recognized that the building’s foundation, exterior walls, and roof had not been damaged by the fire. The interior walls and main floor were removed, leaving only the exterior shell of the house. The home was then rebuilt with a slightly different layout, which included a legal, walkout basement suite.
